Fox: Gounardes “Unfit To Hold Office” For Bail Reform Support

On the eve of the Election Day, Republican State Senate candidate Brian Fox sent a final message to voters before Election Day.

Fox declared: “Tomorrow the fate of our city and state rests in the hands of the voters in State Senate District 26. My opponent Sen. Andrew Gounardes refused to participate in a debate because he co-sponsored bail reform that led to rampant crime across New York State. He voted to take rights away from our NYPD officers, which also led to more crime. My opponent has proven to all of us that he is unfit to hold office. The damage that my opponent caused will ultimately have to be reversed in the coming years by a different, better representative.”

Brian Fox made repeal bail reform the key issue in the campaign. He believes that releasing criminals without bail is a large part of the reason for the rising crime. The vote will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8.
